Went to Maggio for a real estate matter, quoted a price, then made us do powers of attorneys we did not even ask for. In the event, the cost was so much higher. Would have appreciated honesty in the beginning. Total rip off.

Mr. Maggio is the personification of Lawyer/Liar in my humble opinion. We went to him for a real estate matter. He quoted us a certain fee. It was cheap. So, we went with him. Then, it took forever! Finally, the papers were ready, but the fee is so much higher. Plus, he added a Power of Attorney for Property we did not even ask for. He insisted on us paying. I think this man is a crook - based on our experience. We cannot recommend him.

He is an excellent lawyer- I closed a real estate transaction and did my will. The experience was excellent. Thank you Mr. Maggio!

I am so disappointed in Maggio and his staff. He is very rude and disrespectful. He is not honest. He says he can help you UNTIL HE GETS YOUR MONEY. Once the retainer is paid, he will change his story and tell you he cannot help you and he will keep the entire retainer. They hardly ever answer their phone. Maggio nor his staff will return messages. They'll leave you high and dry and you will have lost all your money you paid him. I have never met such an unprofessional uncaring man in my life ! He talks down to people, and he cares about nothing but the money. This is the absolute truth.

He doesn’t keep a copy of a will. This is unacceptable. My father’s Will has been misplaced and now we have to pay probate on his house and car. Every other lawyer, I’ve spoken to says they keep the original or a copy. He advertises a low price on a will but then when you go to pay, it’s six times the amount. I gave him low scores, because basically my father paid for a will that was useless. He got no value for it. It was not communicated to him that he got all the copies, and that the lawyer would not keep a copy. Any lawyer should know they should keep a copy.

Compassionate and caring are not qualities I usually associate with lawyers, but Mr. MAGGIO is truly the exception. His very capable assistance with a couple legal matters has been a real pleasure. He's busy because he's good and the wait to see him is well worth your time.
