Rana Yavari is one of the rarest combinations of true talent, wild intelligence and compassion that our family has experienced. Our file was spoken of as “one of the worst I’ve seen”. When we described it to potential professionals, they often said “come on, it can’t really be that bad”… and inevitably a week after starting they would be shocked. After years of continued abuse by the opposing party, we had begun to lose hope. Rana and her team dove into the deep end with us, they exposed the complex manipulations and curated false stories, shone a spotlight on the truth and fought for us. She stood up for us when we could barely stand under the crushing weight of someone who was wholeheartedly focused on destroying our lives in any way possible, and she won every application. There aren’t words for how grateful we are or how much we appreciate how committed Rana was to us. She is innovative, strategic and empathetic. Her care and concern was apparent. We’re so grateful.

Rana Yavari worked with me - Anna Perry - on family law cases so I confidently recommend her to those with a family law case who want to work with one of the best. Rana is smart, skilled, very calm and compassionate. She has a good legal mind and stands her ground with firm confidence in her skill and preparation. Rana works with very senior lawyers at MacLean Law who are very difficult to please and demanding. They choose to work with Rana because she meets their high expectations. From the very beginning I knew I needed to go with Rana. She is clearly well educated in family law and everything she told me I fact checked and she was right. So as I moved forward with retaining her I felt extremely knowing I had an expert on my side! Hopefully im never in this situation again but if I am at least I know I got Gem!

Rana worked on my legal team, on an extremely difficult case. She was driven, sharp, empathetic, and professional. Her combination of intelligence and compassion was essential to getting my case to a resolution. I can't thank her enough, or recommend her enough.
