Meghan Forhan is a financial predator and a total incompetent. Her rate was $195 per hour. She got a $1500 retainer. A few days later she wanted $2,000 more. I refused. So she sent me a demand letter saying, "you owe our firm $10,000." Absurd given the case, time frame and fact that she did no work. The only thing she did was book trial dates and she couldn't even do that right. She forgot the Counsel Designation Form so her assistant frantically contacted me to sign one and send back to her while she waited at the courthouse. After she met the prosecutor she gushed, "he's so intelligent" and waxed on about his career. She even tried to convince me that his concocted narrative of events was credible. I fired her. At her appearance to step down she was rude to me and visibly nervous in front of the judge. She presented as weak, ineffectual and dumb. Finally, she committed billing fraud by taking the entire $1500 retainer. Based on her rate, she charged me 8 hours to book court dates.
