I’ve met Rizwana when I was looking for a family lawyer who can help me with my family law case. I would say that my case was quite unique. Upon my first meeting with her, I felt very comfortable right away which is very important for me having to go though a lot of stress. She’s very knowledgeable, worked hard and diligently on my case. She responded to my questions/emails in a very timely manner and I saw that she really fought for me and my children. I am glad to have found her to guide me through this journey. She brought me back to sanity. I rated her 5 stars on every category not to be generous but that’s just how I was treated. I would recommend her should anyone needs someone to listen and fight for them.

Rizwana became my lawyer several years ago when no one else would take my case. As a 15 year old who wanted to be heard in her divorced parents' proceedings she was the first person to listen to me and empower me. This was several years ago and Riz was newer at the time, but that did not stop her from working hard on my case and supporting me through this hard time. She was patient with me and explained each step so that I understood what we were doing. Without her, I would not be where I am now, and I thank her for that.

Rizwana is distracted and overwhelmed. She takes on too much on her plate and hence becomes ineffective. I highly advise to not use her. I spent 23 k and now am not allowed to see my daughter anymore despite seeing her every weekend for the last 5 months. It never felt like she was in your side. Just going through the motions. She filed for a notice for mediation despite after I've told her my ex- wife said I am just wasting my time and money. And sure enough that was what happened after 3k. Long story short, avoid her if you don't want to go broke.

t strikes me that a lawyer with her experience would demonstrate such lack of integrity, lack of veracity, and side with one party against the other on the basis of pure "hearsay". I will report her to the law society because from an ethical perspective, she does more harm to both parties than help. We are told that she is from Pakistan, and thus has no knowledge of BC Law.

I hired Rizwana for my case after getting nowhere with my previous lawyer. I am glad I hired her, as she is not afraid to go to court unlike many other lawyers who tend to just write letters back and forth. After reviewing my case, she advised me to bring an application for the interim orders instead of waiting for trial because of which, I was able to get very favourable interim orders. That one court appearance forced my ex party to come to the table and settle the remaining issues out of court. She guided me during the negotiation of the agreement and told me the honest and hard truth about all possible outcomes, something that my friends and family were too reluctant to say. If you are dealing with a legal issue, and or need a second opinion, I would advise you to discuss your case with Riz.

Working with Riz was a pleasure. As a parent herself she understood my concerns and was determined in fighting for my rights with my daughter. I always felt like I knew what was going on and what we were working towards. Riz even offered to take me to go pick up my daughter after court because I was from out of province. I can not thank Riz enough for her extreme generosity and focus on my case.

Hiring Ms. Choudhry was best decision I made for my case. She offered sound professional advice and helped me navigate the legal system and ensured rights of my children and I are protected. Straight forward and easy to communicate with, she clarified all my questions no matter how simple or complicated the issues. I highly recommend her for family legal support.

I believe that every individual's experience with a lawyer is unique. However, with this particular lawyer I would advice that you are very mindful and alert in mainly three areas: 1.Communication (emailing) etiquette. There is a lot of procrastinating. 2. Learning the facts of your case and grasping crucial information. She will make crucial mistakes - and never admit to them. 3. Moving your case along - there is alot of I would like to discuss this and meet about that....even though the information has been already relayed to her. Therefore one can safely assume that she is either trying to make money through extra meetings or that she is overwhelmed and distracted. Personally I would not recommend this lawyer to anybody.
