Triffin is NOT a lawyer. Although he went to law school and passed the bar exam he was never admitted to the PA or NJ bars. His basic tactic is to buy bad checks from a check cashing firm and then sue the original maker of the check in small claims court. The amounts involved are normally small so most people just pay him off rather than hiring a lawyer to fight him. He has been doing this for 30 years and has filed over 15,000 suits so he knows court procedures forward and backwards. However, his claims are bogus. Many times he quotes laws that don't exist and misquotes laws that do. His tactics are UNETHICAL. His ability to swindle the courts in letting him get away with his antics is disgraceful.
