We retained Katherine Kubica for a very complex case of child custody having to return the child to Ontario from Edmonton. We won our case despite so many obstacles filled with slander and lies. She focused on the child and the merit of the parent fighting to have his child returned to him. She delved right in to all the details and knew the case so well that she could rebut off the top of her head any lies advanced with the facts. She's straightforward and does not take any bull and that's what you need in difficult cases. We would not have won without her knowledge and tenacity. We are so forever grateful. I strongly recommend her.

I completely disagree with the other post in here. Other lawyers wouldn't touch my case until I found Katherine. She finished the file in five months and not once did I witness any unprofessionalism. She is extremely knowledgeable, astute and very kind.

Although she came highly recommended, we were very unimpressed with how she conducted herself with our family law issue. She made all sorts of promises but when we actually reached the courtroom her strategy seemed to be to create as much conflict with the other lawyer as possible. Personal insults, raising her voice, interrupting the other lawyer and judge - you name it. Needless to say she lost us our case and are trying to appeal however the next two lawyers we went to didn't want to touch it after she had had her hands on it. We've finally found a new lawyer that we saw work on another case in court and he is professional and knows his stuff. Hopefully he can undue the damage Kubica did to our case which made us look very bad. We found out later she's actually been disciplined for her misconduct!
