I too, had a horrible experience with Axworthy. I terminated her employment when it was clear she was not representing my best interests and her sole concern was artificially inflating my bill.

Michelle leaked my personal financial information to opposing counsel without my consent. She did not customize her approach to defend my case and seemed to place her friendly working relationship with opposing counsel ahead of my best interest. Her work was at best a pre-made pre-packaged solution, and seemed to have been drafted by opposing counsel as it hardly represented my interest. Had to close my account with her to find competent counsel representation (easy to find). When I brought up my dissatisfaction, she aggressively argued her perspective without listening. In my search for other experts, I was told her reputation was known at best below average. She ended up charging me almost $10,000 for a draft and a couple of email exchanges. Safe to say, don't waste your money on this one.

Because of Michelle Axworthy, my child lives half of his life in a sickeningly abusive home. It’s really sad that Michelle Axworthy cares more about winning and money, than she does about a child’s well-being.

She will lie for you. I am finding this helpful. I had a lawyer before that would fabricate for me. Axworthy is better because she will actually put on a real act for you.
