Shashika Stanislaus did such a brilliant job representing me in the fight of my life divorce that I not only am writing this review, I also gave his name to the local woman's shelter in my area.
Shashika believed me, trusted me, and fought hard for me. He advised me and also kept me focused and on track. His timing and judgment was on point. I felt safe enough to trust his advice and follow it. Thank goodness I listened to him because he was correct on every point.
As a result, he brought in a landmark judgment that I believe literally saved my life, and a settlement that was more than I ever expected. I felt like I had my brother standing up for me, and his firm felt like a family backing us up.
Shashika is intelligent, kind, thoughtful....and tough. Thank goodness my X spouse didn't find him first. Justice was served because I was blessed to find an Lawyer that cared.
Teri his assistant was always so kind and gracious. She was always there to help. I recommend Him 1000%

Shashika is an excellent lawyer. He has been my lawyer through my whole divorce and still to this day.(5 years) I genuinely believe he cares about my kids and I. I have a very extreme and unstable ex who is out to cause me any difficulty she can. With Shashika’s help, I have my kids, and I am finally getting the peace I deserve. When we went to supreme court last week he made my exes current lawyer look far less than adequate. In court he was calm, collected, well spoken and organized. Shashika was also very accommodating with appointment times as I often needed late evening meetings due to work. It is obvious to me that any bad review on here would be an opposing party who got beat I’m sure! I will continue to use and recommend Shashika for any family legal issues that arise as long as he’s practicing.

I have three little boys, and have been fighting for three years to get a decent time with one of them. I hired Shashika, specialized in litigation in 2021 with one particular objective: Have him to represent me at a hearing and a trial. Given the circumstances, I felt that I had no choice but to go down that road.
Even though Shashika and I made sure the court dates were all lined up and were super prepared to defend the case, I felt like he always had my family's best interest in mind by being mindful of my legal costs: He has been a major driver in pushing for negotiation and avoiding the court and as a result, I am pleased to say that 5 days before the trial, my ex and I reached a 50/50 agreement for my little one.
Shashika is well spoken, organized, reasonable, logical and I would highly recommend him if you need a good family lawyer."

Mr. Stanislaus is a super counsel. He is very articulated and patient. He is so honest in all aspects of your file that he gives you a hard time. He defended me so good and made an impossible case to deal with a winner.And yes they are one of the best family law firms in Vancouver therefore expensive.

Shahsika Stanislaus is not a lawyer. He is law crook. He does everything to persuade the judge. He very easily sells his own clients. His only intention and plan is to become a partner at the law firm he started working as an article student and is now an associate. I'm confident that his practice won't survive long. He will get lots of citations and suspensions. He makes very divorce battle a bankruptcy case for all parties involved, even his own clients, only to benefit himself. A very deceitful, dishonest and nasty character. The judges only like him for a short period, since he very hardly tries to please them and kiss their bottoms. But they soon realize that all he does is to fill his own pockets. He very blatantly lies to everyone including the judges! He should be disbarred and I believe soon will be. The firm he practices at has an extremely negative reputation among lawyers and judges. STAY AWAY FROM HIM ANS HIS FIRM. He screwed up my case and made me see bankruptcy saying hi

I worked with this firm for about 10 months.
During JCC Mr. Stanislaus and opposing counsel agreed to hold 200K on trust account in order to get an agreement for my trip with my daughter.
On JCC it agreed that those funds will be released after I came back to Canada and delivering my daughter's passports to my counsellor. Even it agreed like that Mr. Stanislaus did such a bad job, did failure to add that into JCC order. I am sure Mr. Stanislaus remembers what has been agreed on JCC. But after I retained my new attorney he sent a letter to them and indicated that 200K will not be released. It's hard to understand what he acted that way. It seems to me that he was acting dishonestly by sending the letter about not releasing the funds and intentionally harming my case.
