My divorce was an extremely complicated and I encountered many issues after 3 years of court. Unfortunately, my previous lawyer left some grey areas about the alimony issues after my retirement, and despite a very generous financial agreement, my ex decided I should keep paying alimony for life.I paid her alimony until I retired at age 75. Fortunately, a friend suggested to go to Stephen Duran and Associates and they assigned me with Mehwish Rasheed. After a two year struggle dealing with unreasonable demands from my ex, Mehwish got what I needed and was able to stop alimony payments altogether. Mehwish is a fantastic speaker and an excellent presenter in court. She presented my case with the judge so well and she did an amazing job preparing my case. Her communication skills directed me to our success. I was very happy with the level of expertise and diligence I received. I highly recommend Mehwish and her firm to anyone who is in need of a good family lawyer.

Not happy with the service I had received. Also, they did a bate switch where I ended up with an associate with limited experience in family law

I found Mehwish off-putting and ignorant. My divorce and child custody were a very stressful experience and the lack of communication from Mehwish made the situation worse for me. Also, I found that my initial retainer was being depleted recklessly by the firm.

If you have the means to afford a good family lawyer, Mehwish Rasheed is an excellent family lawyer. I've hired Mehwish to legally represent me in what I can confidently say one of the most complex divorce cases that can ever be. My matter's involved international child abduction, motions filed by my ex husband for leave to appeal issued court orders in my favor, and failure to pay significant child support and other costs. Mehwish has been very thorough, diligent and most importantly committed and passionate about my case. Since the beginning she had a solid grasp of the situation and of the impact the situation is having on my life as a whole. Mehwish has known exactly how to use the right legal strategy and the law to manage the case. Mehwish has been successful not only in bringing my children back from a foreign country but also in securing final court orders that will protect me and my children with regard to custody and access. It's been a great pleasure working with her!

Mehwish (Moon, Beautiful, Pretty, Moon Face) Such a beautiful unique name has to have multiple meanings. Mehwish's knowledge of her craft and her opponents strategies brought success over and over again. Mehwish is extremely patient and reassuring which was a great comfort. Her communication skills directed me which led to our success. When your emotions are high sometimes your judgment gets cloudy. Her communication skills allowed me to see the reality clearly. The tenacity Mehwish has is unmatched in her craft. When it seemed everything was against us she still grind with determination. This determination produces her work quality which speaks for itself. Even the night before court when I just wanted to relax Mehwish wanted to go over everything. Making sure all bases are covered. Mehwish is a person of great value who is passionate about her client's family and future. As for the value of her work you will not be disappointed.

Our case was almost 4 years in court and was basically at a stalemate with the other party. We hire Ms. Rasheed as an agent to bring this matter to a close and also asked it to be cost effective with paperwork and filing. We were very impressed after 2 attendance we were able to negotiate a Settlement. She worked closely with us to minimize cost. Her negotiation skills and tenacity in dealing with an almost impossible situation was admirable. We sincerely owe our thanks to Ms. Rasheed for doing what a few other lawyers we worked with was unable to do. I highly recommend her.
