Leah Gensey defended my criminal charges in St. Catharines as well as Hamilton. She was retained under Legal Aid certificate, her communication in updating me on the details of the case were straight and to the point. She was effective in defending my matters, she presented herself well and very knowledgeable of my matters in detail and knew my disclosures well. I was acquitted on all charges before St. Catharines court and Hamilton court. Although she kept communication to a limit and to what was necessary I believe that was to effectively defend the case properly and not to allow the emotional component interfere with the facts of the case before the court and my feelings. In the end she was spectacular in her cross and very effective in defending me to a favourable outcome of acquittal. Although I was not guilty one always worries of being found guilty to false allegations which at times can be hard to defend if lawyer doesn't have a strong understanding of the facts. I recommend!

My husband and I hired Ms. Gensey when our son was charged with some serious offences. From the beginning, when she represented him at his bail hearing, we were so impressed by her knowledge and fight for our son. Throughout the process, she kept our family updated about our sons case, and won his trial. We are so grateful for all of her work on our sons case, and would strongly recommend her.
