Fareen Jamal helped bring my very long, and complicated divorce to a close; when there didn’t seem to be an end in sight. I felt that I was in very capable hands from day one. Fareen is bold and assertive, but also kind and empathetic. She has an impressive ability to see through the games that tend to drag litigation on endlessly, and is highly skilled at stopping them in their tracks whenever possible. I would highly recommend Fareen and her team.

I have referred friends and family to Fareen Jamal team ever since we had our first meeting in 2016. At the time Fareen was my third lawyer. I’d been to 1 very experienced and empathetic lawyer that I felt wasn’t assertive enough and another high powered over confident lawyer in downtown Oakville that just wanted to talk big yet send threatening and costly letters to my ex. Fareen is a perfect blend of brain, confidence, sensitivity, professionalism and intimidation. Despite my world falling apart realizing I was with an absolutely terrible human being for 25 years. Fareen cut through the emotional rabbit hole my ex was increasingly getting me into, concisely represented me in court, got child and spousal support (with retro) and locked it in with FRO. To this day my ex is the most charming, deceptive scum bag you’d ever encounter. The legal process is expensive; getting to the best lawyer at the start saves money and stress. I continue to view Fareen and her office as “my lawyer”.
