I engaged Andrew Brownstein in May to represent me and negotiate on my behalf regarding a prohibitive labour practice against my former employer. Prior to formally engaging Andrew I consulted with four legal firms regarding the merits of my claim and the likelihood of a successful resolution. All other firms expressed hesitation in accepting the engagement and if they did would charge a significant retainer. Andrew's assessment was contrary and the confidence he displayed led be to decide to move forward with a formal complaint against the employer. In September the negotiations moved forward with the facilitation of the CNESST and the negotiated outcome was well beyond expectations. Furthermore the guidance from Andrew in articulating and strengthening key taking points and arguments made the entire process transparent and non intimidating. I highly recommend Andrew to anyone who is contemplating a prohibitive practice complaint; he is results oriented and a pleasure to deal with.
