Paid my retainer,3 months go by, never hear from her. I f/u, she assigns me to a lawyer that is freshly back from being away from the office for 2 years, as Belinda is too busy for me. I am billed for both Belinda and the new hire to review my file. My entire retainer of $5000.00, (except for 82.00 remaining) is used to write one letter to opposing counsel. I was initially quoted an hourly rate, yet when I received the invoice, the rate was $75.00 more per hour. When I brought this to her attention, she advised me to pay at this rate, since the bill was already issued, and going forward, she would bill at the rate that she had quoted me. As a financially struggling single Mom, leaving an abusive relationship with an adulterer, and seeking legal advice, this response was appalling to me. It was my first experience hiring a lawyer and it was an unpleasant one. I regret not filing a formal complaint, but I was too overwhelmed and traumatised by the experience at the time.

Belinda was amazing in helping my husband. Opposing counsel increased our legal costs with his misrepresentation, she was extremely patient attempting to close this matter involving spousal/child support, access, parental alienation, etc.. we are forever grateful

Tells you what you want to hear. Unfortunately not correct info. Dont hire this lawyer she will run your bill going in circles.
