I had a very good experience with Melanie. She was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She was very strong and was able to deal with my situation in a professional manner. I would highly recommend her.

Worst experience ever! I met Melanie for a free consult, she appeared knowledgeable in family law. On my second visit, she requested I sign a retainer for $800.00 to review the file. The next day I called the office to ask her an urgent questions regarding my case. She said she wasn’t able to provide me with an answers because she did not reviewed my file. Due to my urgency to retain a lawyer she suggested that I “shop around” before I retain her. At that point I felt she was not confident to take on a settlement matter therefore I requested to pick up my file the same day. When I picked up my file she charged me $800.00!!! What robbery! She told me she didn’t review my file hence she was unable to give me some insight or legal advice. I do not recommend this lawyer. She did nothing on my file and charged me regardless than she sent by email file review notes 3 days later. She showed no empathy and compassion in regards to the matter at hand.
