I found this attorney to be untruthful and extremely ineffective and very disorganized, rarely returned calls. All she seemed to care about was getting a new real estate listing and billing me out for as much as possible. It felt like a money grab. I can not recommend this woman as we had a horrible experience. There are a number of good attorneys in Port Jeff. Since you are asking for my opinion we can only strongly suggest Do your research before hiring this person.

I had a horrible experience with Broker/Attorney Mary Claire Hartill.
Since this site asks for ratings, I will be happy to oblige. I interviewed a number of attorneys for my case. During my decision process, Ms. Hartill contacted me after my initial contact, to advise she knew the judge personally, was very "aggressive" and could easily prevail, and asked for several thousand dollars for a retainer. I soon found that Ms. Hartill's sole focus was on keeping as much of my retainer as possible. Ms. Hartill's site claims "honest professionalism". However, instead of "honest professionalism"Ms. Hartill decided to cash my retainer check without my signing her retainer. After Ms. Hartill had my money, I later learned she had billed me over $1,000.00 to discuss the terms of what I considered her self-serving retainer.
Once Ms. Hartill had my money, there was little contact from this person. Real Estate Broker Ms Hartill appeared more focused on getting real estate listing
