Darryl withheld a family law evaluation on my exhusbands OMERS pension claiming it was equivalent to my RRSPs. After learning that my biological son was cut out of his father’s OMERS survivors benefits in favour of his niece, I decided to contact OMERS directly. Only to learn that I was entitled to over $400,000 in an equalization payment plus interest because of Darryl Willer withholding the FLV at the time of divorce. He’s sketchy at best.

This is the second time I have reviewed Darryl Willer. Again, Mr. Willer has proven to be an exceptional professional and has provided exemplary service to me after I was dragged through an appeal of the original trial decision that I won with his help. He won for me again. Darryl then acted as my counsel in an Motion to Change that followed the appeal. In all, I have worked with Darryl for nearly 10 years. He has been successful at every stage of an extremely complex case. He is tenacious, calm, strategic and has exceptional instincts about his opponents. I had Darryl retained for over 3 years. I can honestly say I was well represented. Darryl was extremely calm and strategic in the face of an opposing counsel that was predatory, abbrasive and aggressive. Many times he would refuse to engage in attempts by other lawyer to create conflict where there was none. Super ethical, knowledgeable and focused. My only negative comment is that I found him to be a bit slow to respond, but that is likely due to how busy he is. Nevertheless, Darryl has all the qualities that you want in a lawyer. I have no doubt that Darryl is a great candidate to become a judge one day. Very strongly recommended!

Hire this professional immediately. Darryl is an amazing advocate and is a very quick study of your case and literally memorizes and recalls details while on his feet. I have worked with him in a very contentious custody trial and he worked on my case 24/7. His level of care for me went way beyond my expectations. He is a fierce, strategic and ethical trial lawyer. He brought out the very worst in my opponents witnesses just by asking the right questions. This guy is smart as a whip and he is 100 percent focussed on positive outcomes for his clients. I cannot recommend him enough.
