Hired Mr. Reed for a divorce. Unfortunately, my spouse, who was undergoing professional treatment for her anxiety/emotional issues, created a domestic violence scene and filed multiple DV charges against me. Mr. Reed offered to defend me in 2 separate DV cases but his defense was limited to his showing up in court; he never obtained any evidence from the state's prosecutors against me; instead I was being convicted merely on my spouse's statement that she made when she drove to the police department 6 hours after the alleged DV incident, which opposed my subsequent counter statement to the police. Mr. Reed did not tell the judge that there was no evidence supplied by the state, nor did he file a motion to have any evidence tossed out if it was obtained after the time limit for its production had expired, and so the judge ruled against me. He should not be practicing criminal defense as he was a "lame duck" at the mercy of the state's prosecutors - unprepared, with no defense strategy.
