Vayia Ellsworth is an excellent Divorce/Family Law Lawyer. Vayia sees the complete picture and communicates what you need to hear/understand. Vayia did great with my separation, ensuring I received a fair settlement. Hopefully, I won't need her services again, but I would highly recommend her to anyone needing a Divorce/Family Law lawyer.

Vayia was very straight forward with her advice on my issues. No sugar coating. Explained the process in detail and explained outcomes of other cases similar to mine. She was very accommodating with the retainer fee, which was very helpful. I would highly recommend her for any family matter you may have.

I found Vayia to be astute, efficient and her response rate excellent when I had questions. She gave me a sense of confidence when I needed it most plus she was thorough and always positive. Her energy, tenacity and knowledge of the law combined with her professional but caring personality make for the exact kind of lawyer everyone seeks. I had the pleasure of having my divorce completed at Templeman. Vayia’s assistant danielle was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. My divorce was painless and I was walked through the procedure every step of the way. Thank you vayia and danielle for helping me start my next chapter.

Went for advice on divorce and settling property in New Brunswick. She didn't seem knowledgeable about this. Told me to have everything handled in New Brunswick. I got hold of a lawyer in N.B. who said the legal process should be started in Ontario. I emailed Vayia with this info asking what she would advise next. She never responded to my email or had her secretary respond by phone or email. Waited two weeks and ended up booking another appointment with her. Asked me why I booked another appointment and I asked her why she didn't respond to my email, and she said she was very busy. She quoted some section in a big law book and told me to call this lawyer in N.B. back and tell her to read this section, claiming the lawyer in N.B. didn't know what she was talking about. Charged me another $300 for about maybe 1/2 hour of her time and basically left me to sort things out for myself. I was not happy at all with her help or lack thereof.

My experience with Vayia has been over a one year period starting in October 2018. Vayia represented me as the Respondent. She's excellent at communicating the process, next steps and anticipated outcomes. I'm a detailed person by nature. My need to understand process is important to me and Vayia quickly picked up on this. At every step she communicated in easy terms the process. I recall several times within this process the feeling of panic and despair. Vayia quickly reassured me everything would be fine. Her knowledge of the Family Law rules is very impressive. Vayia will tell you when you're wasting your time and money and will propose the best way forward so you get the best bang for your buck. She was able to negotiate a final settlement that exceeded my expectations. Emotionally, Vayia was tremendous support for me as well. She helped by relaying some of her own personal experiences. I would highly recommend Vayia to anyone that needs family law legal help. Thank you Vayia!

At one of the worst times in my life Valya Ellsworth took over and in the most caring,empathetic way got me Everything I was entitled to. She is an excellent lawyer, professional and kind yet totally capable of fighting for her client. I will be recommending her and her team to everyone in need of legal help. Going through the process of getting a divorce can be such an emotional rollercoaster ride and knowing that your lawyer has the experience and skills necessary to guide you through is so important. Working on creating a separation agreement especially when child access is involved is never easy but Vayia was always able to provide the bigger picture and refocus matters. I would definitely recommend Vayia to my friends and actually I already have.
