William (Bill) Cord likes to brag how great he is, but having dealt with him, I’m not pleased with his performance and he’s certainly not worth at $500 per hour. He’s likely ok for basic or simple cases, but not good beyond the basics. In my case, it was apparent that he going to throw me under the bus at court time. I would not recommend William (Bill) Cord for anything

Lovely charming man ; was committed to proceeding to a positive result until the situation became acrimonious with the other side.At that juncture 3 years later he was insistent that the intelligent response was to settle and avoid a trial.When Bill’s fees were deducted settled for essentially the same offer as had been initially offered.Confident that a more aggressive and tenacious attorney would have resulted in a significantly Different result.Fees structured at $450 per hour create a significant bill in short order.I have had no interaction with attorneys aside from creating a will but this interaction left me with a less that satisfactory result and the feeling that a different lawyer would have provided better representation.

He handled my case for 3 years, two days and 17,000.00 later two days before discovery date, he says I am a problematic witness. He throws me under the bus, wont proceed with discovery. If you want to drink Cappuccinos with a nice guy, Bill is your man. When you need a pit bull lawyer, Bill turns coward, Hangs you out to dry. 17000.00!
