Mr. Atkins is a incompetent lawyer in all respects of the word. He is strictly there to make money and do as little for his client as possible in representing them. As another reviewer mentioned, you would be better representing yourself. He charges more and more $$$$ without any clear accountability, how the funds are being dispersed in regards to your representation. PLEASE learn from my mistake if you read this and do not trust Mr. Atkins with your hard earned money. I lost 10's of thousands of dollars in legal fees paid to him to get a very poor result. By far the worst lawyer I have ever had dealings with.

Beau and his team were efficient, diligent and very pleasant to deal with. It was was very easy to communicate with anybody from the practice - just a simple email away and always a prompt response.

If you are looking for a lawyer who will dedicate them self to your file, do not depend on Beau Atkins. If you don’t want to sit through hearings and/or pretrial being extremely frustrated because he doesn’t know how to argue your side, run the other way. Basically if you have lots of money to throw away, with no expectations of getting results, use Beau Atkins as your lawyer. I got more accomplished after representing myself, than I did with Beau representing me. Beau was aware that the opposing lawyer was acting unethically and was misleading the courts, and he did nothing. I complained to him and he told me there was nothing I could do and that people lie in affidavits etc. I now know that this is contrary to what it states according to the Law Society code of ethics and conduct. I went through unnecessary proceedings because of Beaus lack of understanding in his obligations as a lawyer. Whatever you do, do not depend on this lawyer for results.

Beau isn't like other lawyers. He may be firm with his clients, but it's definitely because he knows what he is doing! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for highly competent legal representation.

Beau does not communicate in a timely way. The advice he offers is short-sighted, and is often not in the best interests of whom he represents. A cursory knowledge of the law (or even a quick google search) would provide you with more insight than the advice he offers his clients. Definitely avoid.

Beau gave me some really good advice during my separation, and was more compassionate than I expected a lawyer could be. I stayed out of court partly because of the knowledge he has.
