This was a negative experience across the board. A relatively straight forward divorce case involving children which became a runaway legal fiasco totaling over 100K (not a typo). The two lawyers (Daniel Newman and Virginia Rucinski) performed a dance of superfluous motions and cross motions that never ended. Grasp of the legal facts were tenuous at times and it seemed I had a better handle of the case than counsel. Unexcuseably, the Office of D. Newman ran my credit card for 10k (not a typo) without my consent. This led to a year-long investigation by the State, which found him guilty of negligence. If Newman and Rucinski are still practicing law in NJ, I highly discourage their legal services.
