I went through a divorce case and ultimately hired Stephanie. Stephanie is a straight shooter. She articulates obligations and rights clearly and maintains the highest level of professionalism, compassion and fairness. Stephanie is a sound knowledgeable family lawyer and is a person to establish a strong trusting relationship with. I was recommended to Gelman & Associates and after talking to Lisa Gelman for a few minutes I knew I was making the right decision. Lisa referred me to Stephanie Joe .In addition to not understanding the legal process complicates matters even worse. Stephanie Joe explained the law , outlined in clear language the steps in the process that where needed to be done. She was reassuring, articulate knowable and effective. Stephanie Joe made the process so much easier and gave me peace of mind in a stressful but successful outcome for my situation . I highly recommended Gelman&Asssociates. I hope to never be in this situation again – However I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again. Shout out to Joan the legal assistant , Joan was very up to date and friendly !

Was not capable of even getting a court order completed on time. Perhaps fine for a very basic case but otherwise like going to a bottom of the class GP for brain surgery.Ms Joe was completely intimidated by a much more capable lawyer.Gelmans misrepresented that they had a downtown office which is really just a store front.One ridiculous miscommunication and mistake after another. We have changed lawyers.

Stephanie keep me informed as to what was happening and going to happen every step of the way through my divorce. I had lots of questions for her, often she would explain things before I even had a chance to ask a question. She is very professional and she worked very hard on my behalf.

I am very, very pleased with my experience with Stephanie. She was always able to answer all of my questions, and explain to me many things, many times. Even though I was nervous and timmid, Stephanie made me feel very comfortable every step of the way. Even if you're as nervous as I was, I definately recommend her for any of your needs.
