I consulted Mr. Roberts about a complex employment matter. He stretched out the consultation as long as possible by speaking extremely slowly and asking questions I had already answered. Finally he said, "Um. Um. Um. Why don't you give me your documents and I'll get back to you." Like an idiot, I gave him my documents, but he never got back to me. I sent a few emails but finally realized I was never going to hear from him again, and went back to collect my paperwork.Then they charged me $429. When I asked for the work product for which I was paying $429, his assistant had the good grace to look embarrassed while she mumbled, "There isn't one." If he charges $429 for doing nothing, just imagine how much you'd have to pay if he actually did anything. Avoid this shyster unless your hobbies include setting your money on fire, throwing it out the window, and flushing it down the toilet.
