Nicole Garton is absolutely useless! We used her as a PC in hopes to find some resolution and expertise. Instead, in our first 3 way meeting the other party screamed at her for ten minutes before I had to step in and tell her how unacceptable her getting screamed at was. The next year was spent billing $5600 when the other party didn’t even respond to her. Not once! Completely ineffective! Unbelievable really! At one point she made a recommendation in writing which was followed only to change her opinion after the fact leaving the parties unable to meet her new requests. So much time was spent correcting her and reminding her. She is meek, forgetful, and completely ineffective. I would recommend absolutely anyone else at any other firm unless useless is what you are looking for!

I highly recommend Ms Garton for your legal needs particularly in the areas of separation and divorce, and estate planning. She is a consummate professional with a common sense approach. She tremendously helped me and my children through a difficult divorce. I have also referred my clients to her who have been extremely happy with her services. She is both tough and fair. And always negotiates with your best interests in the forefront. She provides trusted legal advice and guidance through complicated situations, with patience! No collaboration was achieved at any stage of my divorce; Ms. Garton capitulated at every stage, her office made many typos and other errors that I was charged for correcting. I was also charged for research time into a subject that was irrelevant to my case. The Heritage office is entirely female; I made the mistake of thinking that a female "collaborative" lawyer would best represent my relatively simple divorce; this was a huge mistake that has cost me significant financial hardship.
