After working with two other lawyers who left me feeling discouraged and more overwhelmed than when I started, I finally found Susanna. Unlike the others, who dismissed my concerns, tried to talk me out of my goals, and discouraged me from pursuing legal action (despite clear grounds to do so), Susanna actually listens. She helped me regain a sense of power and control in a very high-conflict co-parenting case. What I respect most about Susanna is that she has your back. There’s something incredibly comforting about seeing your lawyer react passionately and stand with you at every turn.
Beyond her compassion, Susanna is an excellent legal mind—meticulous, knowledgeable, and strategic. She’s responsive and accommodating, often working late hours to meet tight deadlines or provide updates. She never leaves you guessing and communicates billing clearly and consistently. While her rates are high, her transparency and value make it worthwhile.

Although I'm not a client of Susanna's, I am a family member of one of her clients. Based on the issues he has been dealing with I can say without a doubt Susanna knows exactly what she is doing. He would relay to me the issues he was going through and after him speaking with Susanna I could tell his attitude was much more positive and I could definitely notice he had a brighter outlook on things. I was impressed with my lawyer, Susanna Crichlow's knowledge of the the law, math and the required forms for the court. She wasn't interested in kicking sand back and forth with the other lawyer. I had been through this before I and knew that stuff is a waste of time and money. She told me where I stood after filling out the forms and what the outcome would probably be. She explained it all in detail. She went into a room to argue with the other lawyer and came out with everything as she said it should be. I heard her in the room with the other lawyer. She did not budge. Impressed.

Susanna Crichlow has been great. She takes the time to explain everything she is doing and why. Not only is she very knowledgeable in family law, she impressed me with her math and computer skills. When she was finished, I knew it didn’t matter with the he said/she said stuff. It all came down to the math. She caught the play on the numbers from the other lawyer. Susanna was straight forward and told me right at the start that they didn’t want to waste my time or money. She explained my options, estimated the costs, let me decide whether it was worth it to me or not. Her clerk Pedro did my financial data. He was like a bulldog. He pushed me for more and more information sometimes to the point of irritation but without him, my numbers would have been far worse. In the end, I really appreciated his efforts. Strange but I felt like they were friends when it was done. I trusted them and I knew they had my back. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

When I first started out in family court I was very scared and struggling to navigate the complexity of the legal system on my own.
