Kelli assisted with an extremely unique real estate transaction that involved an irresponsible and illogical seller and an overly aggressive and sneaky lawyer. Kelli made herself immediately available during emergencies, and her calm and professional demeanor helped us make it through this situation. Through all the questionable tactics of the seller's lawyer, Kelli was on top of things, and we were able to settle the matter satisfactorily. This was not an easy file, and we are very appreciative of having Kelli as our representative; her expertise and guidance was essential to getting to a settlement.

Kelli helped my mother through a real estate-related modification that was required to sell her home.
Due to her very busy schedule, Kelli made time to meet with us after hours at my mother’s house to complete the required paperwork.

Devry has a prestigious reputation and is a well known law firm, so I was really confident in contacting the firm for a consultation on my Estate litigation matter. I originally requested to book a consultation online and never received an acknowledgement or response. After a week, I called the Toronto head office and was transferred 3x to a number that would pick up and hang up. I advised the receptionist of this and it made no difference. I contacted a smaller office of the firm closer to my residence and was quickly referred to Kelli Preston. I thought all was well when I was receiving prompt responses. However, as soon as I sent her a brief synopsis of my case - - never heard from her again!! I followed up once a week for 2 weeks following, still nothing. Now that I've read the other reviews here, I see that this is common place. In the end, I'm glad for her lack of response and I avoided these giant invoices other people received!

Extremely incompetent! All of those other bad reviews are absolutely true, as very similar circumstances. Would NOT return phone calls and emails. Honestly, in my opinion, this lawyer had no clue in understanding the file and instead of admitting it, she refused all communication with me until I fired her and hired another (competent) lawyer, thank goodness things work out for the best. Then all of a sudden I get immediately response with a big fat legal bill of over $7,000.00 with absolutely NO results, just emails back and forth with opposing lawyers. Same as other reviews stay clear of this one!

This woman is the most incompetent lawyer I have ever come across.Do NOT hire unless you want to lose everything and have someone who never gets back to you, doesn't do her job and ruins lives. She should be disbarred.

I hired her to represent me and in the end she was the one I needed protection from. Absolutely the worst experience ever after $5000 of useless phone calls and emails not even from her I had to represent myself. If you could have given less than a 1 I would have.

She helped with a bankruptcy situation that a previous lawyer mishandled. The previous lawyer wasted 2 years and thousands of dollars in fees. Kelli sorted it out in less than 3 months and everything was resolved better than our expectation. I would use her services again without a doubt.

Do not waste time and money . Not prepared ,nightmare ,goes on holiday ,Calls 1/2 hr after movers leave to say no keys for at least a few days ,turmoil. do your home work people or it can be a horror story. Harry

This lawyer is interested in money. Is not prepared for court.. has no competency skills and cannot conduct a trial and takes more time putting her makeup on of a morning than knowing her files. This lawyer is also incompetent in cross examination. Kelli is joke even the judge implied the same. Do not waste your time and money.
