Katie Hunter and Israel Apter from Krol and Krol represented me in what was a difficult and drawn out separation from my wife. Both of them were professional, offered sound advise, and provided legal guidance but let me make my own decisions. Both were timely in their response and always kept me informed. Most importantly, both of them understood how emotionally difficult my separation was and showed empathy. I would strongly recommend getting Katie or Israel to represent you.

You never need a family lawyer when things are going well. I have been thankful to have Katie during those times. Katie is extremely knowledgeable and her advice and counsel have always been exceptionally sound. She is confident and can be tough when necessary. She is very attentive to me as her client and has my best interests in mind no matter what she does. Beyond being an incredible lawyer, Katie was a source of support and showed great empathy to me as a person, beyond the client, during some very tough personal times. Katie is very professional. She is knowledgeable, efficient, empathetic, and has great work ethics. It is important in stressful situations to have a lawyer who cares about your case and is comfortable to work with. She put in a lot of late night and weekend hours because my case was urgent, and I truly appreciate her help. I also want to point out that I have been very impressed with Katie's written communication style - concise and right to the point

I first used the services of Krol & Krol many years ago, when it was just Henry and Marilyn. They have since expanded into a cohesive, team driven approach that is very impressive indeed. A good thing, too, because unfortunately, I have again needed their services these past two years. I was fortunate to Have Katie as my lawyer. She is very understanding and supportive, and helped me to understand the process and the legal realities of my situation. She was responsive and kind whenever I needed her assistance. In the 5 way negotiations, she had a brilliant solution to a sticky moment, for which I am grateful. I can recommend her and her firm very, very highly.

Katie was very professional but most importantly for me, her communication was timely and clear. I had another lawyer at a different firm prior to Katie and communication was an issue -- I wasn't treated like I was important. So I found it very refreshing to have Katie working on my case and I was quite pleased with her.
