I have an extremely difficult and scary abusive ex partner. Jaqua made me feel safe and fought really hard to keep me and my child safe from our abuser. She was very persuasive and called my abuser out for laughing in court about abusing us. She was very direct and if I were on the other side I would have likely been intimidated. Even my ex's lawyer seems outmatched by her. I'm very happy I don't need her services but If I did I would happily go to her again.

Very poor attention to detail; many errors had to be corrected which resulted in unnecessary correspondence & extra lawyer fees. Nice & makes you feel heard but got me nothing for all the fees I paid - including JCC which she couldn't even get child support and was trying to advocate for more parenting time than my ex wanted. Jaqua seemed more concerned about her reputation as a fair lawyer than representing her client. She is knowledgeable of the law. Would recommend her if you have an amicable divorce but if you are dealing with an abuser - do not use her. Ex successfully diverted JCC from resolving parenting time and child support to getting his computer back and she actually wasted my money engaging with him and his lawyer on this while she asked me to leave the room. She also was timid and quiet while his bulldog lawyer attacked me and I felt like I was defending myself. New lawyer had child support in place almost immediately. If contentious divorce, she's not the right lawyer
