Thank you Mr.Shankar & Irene Collins. Irene was my first contact with the firm. I had been searching for a criminal lawyer that used legal aid and was not having any luck and thank god she was there. She listened to my pleas and wasn’t sure they could take on my case because they were very busy, but in the end they did. The weight that came off my shoulders and the relief I felt that my grandson had a lawyer now to represent him was unbelievable. Thank you Irene for hearing my pleas. He was my mother's lawyer for her seperation at the beginning. He missed filing crucial paperwork for her at the very beginning, that ultimately ended up costing her any alimony and child support she was owed, along with an incredible amount of money wasted for a woman at retirement age who had been a stay at home mom for years. He absolutely did not have my mother's interests in mind. There's is an email documented response from him telling my father's lawyer that he "didn't know what to do" and he very much seemed to be more interested in not fighting at all, but conceded to whatever my father/his lawyer asked. When my mother got a new lawyer she immediately saw how negligent he had been. I don't know how he sleeps at night after how much he cost a senior because she didn't know any better and trusted him. Do not hire him if you need someone to actually fight for you.

A terrible lawyer, He is good at getting nothing accomplished except billing you. tells you these things take time,yes because thats his plan.New lawyer accomplished more in one email than he did in 2 months and $8000, I finally got sick of his useless responses, I wrote my own, he copied and pasted it , still charged me, I hope he learned something from me, If I ever got to a courtroom I wouldnt want him beside me thats for sure, hired him for criminal and family matters, he sucks at both,I learned the hard way. I was told to get a good lawyer, I now know what a bad one s, learn from my experience and look elsewhere

Ram worked endlessly and worked late for me and we had to overcome some obstacles (not much time). Ram had a good "bang for you buck" and did a great job. I had a previous lawyer and this was the main reason I ended up going to Ram rather than keeping my otherone. Not for one second did I regret my decision. I was having issues with my ex regarding child support, access and different types of disagreements. His service was always quick and simple and straightforward and reliable. He instantly agreed to take on my case which was a huge relief. Although not everything worked out the way I hoped for in the beginning, I am still pretty happy with how things are now. Mr. Shankar was able to keep the matter out of the court, helping me to come to a fair agreement with my ex without the hassle and expenses of court. That was definitely a huge stress and time relief and a big money saver. What I also like about Mr. Shankar is, that he never pushed me into anything. He always reminded me to think about my next steps carefully as court can get very expensive. Also his staff is super friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely choose to work with him again should I run into other legal issues.

although mr shankar did not get the judge to agree to what i asked for i whole heartedly believe that he did get what is in the best interest of my child. i didnt always understand him but i know that he did his best and because of that effort he succeeded in a very messy and tough case. both mr shankar and his staff are very knowledgeable understanding and patient.

I just completed a complex matrimonial case with Mr Shankar. This includes custody, access, OCL report, equalization, property division, support... Lots of work, lots of motions, conferences. Mr Shankar and his staff were extremely professional, patient, thorough and importantly, Mr Shankar believed in me and in my story. He generally returned my calls in less than 24 hours, always emailed me back, answered my questions patiently and thoroughly. Sometimes when Mr Shankar didn't have an answer, he took the time and effort to find out the answer and to get back to me. Incorrect info given to client. Was not familiar with actual case file when went to court. Did not prepare client for what was actually going to happen. Also falsely instructed on what would happen if matter did come up. Does not support you, just tries to get you to sign papers to end the court case without any prior knowledge of that being a possibility or the only possible outcome. Would definitely advise against. Thought was cheaper, but does not provide the legal advice & time you need. Also just wants to get the paperwork done regardless of the outcome (does not care about you as long as the paperwork is done)
