Due to John Fennel's excellent legal representation, I was acquitted on three criminal harassment charges. To my frustration and Mr. Fennel's astonishment, the Crown opted to appeal this acquittal. John Fennel represented me once again in connection with the Crown appeal. Once again, thanks to John Fennel's excellent representation, the acquittal was upheld by the Superior Court. John Fennel is an extremely conscientious and detail oriented lawyer.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found John Fennel. Having a rudimentary knowledge of the law, I able to articulate many legal concerns. To his credit, Mr. Fennel patiently, articulately and knowledgeably answered each and every one of my questions. In my view, he went far above and beyond what most lawyers would do to prepare for my criminal defence. He also properly prepared me for cross-examination by the Crown -- which was a good thing, given that I was cross-examined for almost two full days. Before the trial began Mr. Fennel told me, in what I took as a facetious statement: “The Judge is going to start the trial being frustrated with me. But if I’m doing my job properly, he’s going to become increasingly frustrated with the Crown as the trial proceeds.” Sure enough, before the end of my first day of trial, the Judge actually began expressing his frustration with the Crown! Mr. Fennel is a FANTASTIC lawyer!!!
