Terrible, incompetent, arrogant, does not return calls, failed to secure a judgement that SAT in the clerk's office for months because he did not include a SASE & then blamed them! Lied all along - said he was checking, but did not- when it was obvious he screwed up, offered to return fee, but reneged once he knew I was going to expose his shoddy work. THEN he sent a threatening letter telling me he was going to sue me for $1 million… Do not, I repeat do not hire this person. He will take your money and ignore you. Then, should you write a review, he will attempt to intimidate you, ignoring the anti-SLAP laws protecting our First Amendment freedom of speech. He is a predator. Any reviews indicating otherwise are incorrect & no doubt solicited by Gene Kinsey, as he asked e to write one at the inclusion of our initial meeting.

Do Not even think of hiring this lawyer. He is very cunning. In my case he talked to me for hours only until I hired, then disappeared with my money. Never returned my calls, never moved the case either. He wasted my time besides money. The worst part is that he doesn't share his contact number or even his office number. Calls goes to some call center is some country and they say that they will forward your message. You never end up hearing back from this attorney or his office. I regret I hired him. Now I have fired him but I want to make everyone out there beware of this dog that this Old man is not worth a penny to spend or to even talk to. He is a culprit and a thief. Please stay away from him.

He is very slick. Of the negative comments that are displayed here, ALL of them happened to me! He not only lied to me, he lied to the man I was divorcing, as well. Yes, he tells you he doesn't have to work because he sold all of his property just before the collapse of the market, which says that he ENJOYS that he is stringing people along, and has no conscience whatsoever. He offers no advice, he doesn't prepare you, he doesn't return calls, he lies to you, he talks at the same time you are talking, he denies any and all wrongdoing and tries to lay the blame right back at you. He leaves town without letting you know, he is unavailable most hours of the day, and most days of the week. I was referred to him by someone who did not use him herself, but said he was a "ball buster". He is, about getting his $$, after that, watch him run. Too bad for the profession, too bad for us. He should retire with his $$ and do community service work to pay back society for dereliction of duty.

Hi is very poor lawyer I have ever seen.He and his secretary makes false promises and excuses for not doing your work...We have been very busy lately is their common excuse.They dont even have a valid phone in their office where a client can call.Gene will call you indefinite number of times to take $5000 NON Refundable Retainer ,once he has that you will have the chance to talk to only his answering machine.Decide by yourself before you hire

Never returned calls. Waited until court date to work out problems then never faxed or e-mailed final judgement for signature. Promised paperwork to be faxed to other lawyer never did. Paperwork filled out wrong. Would never recommend this lawyer!!!

Mr. Kinsey handled my divorce in a very professional manner in spite of working for free. My needs came first. I am very grateful for his dedication in getting me through such an emotionally stressful time in my life. I hope to never have to go through the process again, but if I did, I would hire Mr. Kinsey again in a heart beat!
