I have had about a half-dozen free consultations with other lawyers. They had me submit details about my income and assets prior to our meetings. Without hearing a word about my situation, their minds were made up, sell your home, pay her money. I felt like I was talking to my ex's lawyer, not my own. I paid for a consultation with Ms. Kooren.
