I had a consultation with Bruce about my ex refusing to inform me of my children's place of residence. He was very honest and straight forward about the likelihood of the outcome I would have if I pursued the case. I appreciated that honesty, I believe he was looking out for my best interest financially and headaches. I think he's the kind of lawyer who will tell you if u comited a crime lol which if you are self aware and rational is exactly what u need. Altho we decided (at Bruce's advice) that the issue I brought forward was not worth pursuing; Bruce still gave me invaluable advice on a range of legal possibilities that I hadn't considered till our conversation. He made sure I had the knowledge to cover my butt against future possible litigations. And he did all this without any cost, which is amazing how such priceless advice could be well priceless. Based on my experience and the reviews on here, I think if your looking for honesty and justice. Bruce is your guy.

For my part, Mr. Reid went above and beyond my expectations. As my counsel, he represent my best interests in front of the Alberta court, make sure that I was able to have enough parenting time and that I pay the right amount for the child support. He is really efficient if you ask the rights questions, get well prepare to go in front of the court and follow his advices. Mr. Reid and I had the success that we deserve because I did my part/homework, read on the matter and involve myself on the process.

Worst lawyer ever! He only knows books. He gets way too emotional and demanding to listen to all he wants which is not good for you career wise nor kid wise. He won't fight for you but support your ex. Bottom line if you get out of a relationship, do not get into this one because he is very unprofessional only cares about how he feels. BOTTOM LINE IF YOU WANT TO RUIN UR LIFE GO TO BRUCE RRID. Advise: listen to your clients advise explain them laws better , stop judging them with what ex has to say, fight hard for ur clients, find a balance between keeping good terms with the other lawyer and ur client not too aggressive not too mild. Do not abandon ur clients in last minute, do not accuse them of not following laws but help them out of it, he has yelled at me for not listening to the advise which takes a while to comprehend. Please this is someone life u have in ur hands be careful how u treat them, he is racist would refer you to asain lawyer if you are asain, black lawyer if you are

I felt that Mr Reid is very intellectual and smart however he seems to have the belief that if you are a woman (mom) then you need to live off the income of your ex (when you were never married/no spousal). Child support is for the child, and even if it helps a case, attacking the other parent isn't always the best go-to if you're trying to help the child first and foremost. I feel Mr Reid was more focused on attacking my ex (the father) instead of helping us find a good way to reach a fair medium and do what's best long term for the child. Gives moms the stereotype of can't survive without the man; it's 2017 and women can support themselves now. I feel Mr Reid could be a great lawyer if he focused on the child more than money being the top priority every time. If all I wanted was money I could have just dealt with MEP instead of being 40k in the hole for a family lawyer to help the child.
