I was blessed to have Sadia Chowdhury, a senior associate from Mills and Mills LLP in Toronto, represent me as I was going through a separation from my spouse in 2023. Sadia’s amazing / extensive knowledge in Family Law allowed me to feel extremely confident that the matter would be settled with my best interests at heart. I cannot recommend Sadia Chowdhury enough as a divorce attorney. She is a skilled negotiator, highly informed on all elements of family law and gives excellent advice at all times. She is also supportive when times get difficult in the process while still ensuring that her support includes wise counsel. I interviewed a number of attorneys before I retained Sadia and I was so pleased by the experience I had with her .Particularly as a woman who had taken time off of my career to be the primary caregiver for my children, I needed an attorney who could deal with some complex prenuptial paperwork and be able to advise me as to the best way to move forward in both a cooperative manner and one that would be best for me financially. I highly recommend Sadia to anyone seeking an excellent family law attorney who knows when to be a firm negotiator and when to hold and plan for the best outcome. Sadia is competent, compassionate, professional, and whose legal expertise is evident and abundant. She is a talented litigator, able to consider all your options, and be objective in her recommendations. Family law can be complex, highly volatile, eliciting emotions that potentially cloud best judgement, especially when your case drags on in a bureaucratically arduous system. Having Sadia and Carla working on my separation was the best choice by far. Sadia is easy to talk to, incredibly knowledgeable and works hard on your behalf. Whenever I needed assistance or guidance both Sadia and Carla were there to help, and make sure I understood what was going on.
