Clever of a lawyer who reasons to have a balanced ratio of good lawyer/bad lawyer reviews,enabling potential clients to take an risky bet in hiring him. Although he's helped a bunch of abused moms like me getting things in their favor with little effort & much unprofessional conduct,it's scary to think this is the same person defending and lieing for an obvious sociopath. A cunning businessman who will offer a deal and take on as many legal aid cases to keep his "reputation". My unfortunate 5 yr experience with Arseny Sam has shown mostly his skill to morph into his client if paid enough, even after acknowledging them as a phychological abuser.He knowingly chose to be an accomplice to an abusive husband & father,after I reached out to him for help initially,going against basic rules of ethics and moral conduct. He couldn't care less that my children have been in neglectful & abusive situations over & over again. His family Law License should be revoked. Be a criminal lawyer!

Sam is an amazing lawyer. He cared deeply for my case and fought for me and the best interest of my children. He gave me good advice throughout. I highly recommend him if you have a difficult divorce with complicated issues around children and exes that are difficult and selfish.

According to my experience, I can agree with all reviews I am reading here. At the beginning of my case Sam services were above expectations. He worked hard and efficiently regardless of date and time in the calendar, the results reflected that. Once I made him aware of my confidence in him taking my case, everything changed: no explanations, when asked he will make me aware I was disturbing his time.The process started to become never-ending, he became inappropriate, disrespectful and out of line. He started making one mistake after another and the most aggravating part was that not only he didn't acknowledge it, but rather rather pose consequences for me privately and in court for calling him out.He stoped having interest in my case and his own interest became a priority, that brought a lot of frustration and anxiety on both parts, to say the least and ultimately it reflected on my case as well.By the time I decided to changed to lawyers, my case was already lost.I wish I did sooner.

Sam is a loyal and a terrific family lawyer with exceptional knowledge when it comes to court proceedings. Sam is articulate, confident and knowledgeable. Sam is like an avenger you don't mess with. Sam has represented me for the last 2.5 years. During court, I truly saw the difference between a good lawyer (him) and the other lawyer who lacked knowledge, was unorganized and unprepared. Sam stood a firm position in the court room and throughout the entire process. He was personable and kept me in the loop the entire time. I felt confident with his representation and would happily refer anyone to him who's in need of a family lawyer. In conclusion, my choice of representation couldn't have been any better.

I have a very narcissistic ex-husband and Sam understood this type of character and believed me when I told him my story. I felt heard and taken seriously. Sam is passionate and dedicated and I felt heard and respected. Sam isn't afraid to fight but is also realistic about the limitations of the law. I would highly recommend Sam.

This lawyer is nit experienced enough,He will take your case and in the end act if his in the others lawyers side. He doesn't care about his clients. When the case gets complicated he losses interest in your case and tells his client to look for another lawyer. Consider warned about this lawyer.

I found Sam to be very unorganized. On my initial consultation I waited for 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen by him. He did not have a grasp of the law and how it would pertain to my situation. He had no idea how to understand my financial information, specifically stocks, and how it would pertain within my case and what I would be entitled to. He tried to convince me that he would be giving me a discounted rate to save me money but as soon as he heard how much my house is worth his eyes lit up and he mentioned he would take the money out of the money from the sale of the home without saying the budget amount. He also went back and forth a lot like he couldn't decide what track he wanted to take, it was very jumbled.

In general we strongly recommend Sam as a Family Lawyer. His pros: 1. Young energy, especially in time trouble (we prepared our one hundred pages affidavit during one night before urgent motion). 2. He has experienced advisers that consult him in background. 3. He always rehearses his speech before and at the court he sounds reasonable and convincing. And our last advice before starting your fight: Think over thoroughly and decide crystal clear for yourself - what do you want achieve in the end. Discuss your goals with him and make sure that he understand them exactly the same way as you. Let him estimate chances of every desired result.

I was surprised with 2 bad comments. I also think these were comments from the losing side. I started work with Sam when I didn't have money and was a full time student with a child. He showed a lot of empathy and real desire to help especially when I was emotionally unstable. Only one thing that I didn't like is Sam's style of communication. I didn't receive information that I wanted ahead of time. Anyway, he did amazing job, especially in a trial. He is a great lawyer, who has in priority his client's interest first and then money he can earn. I highly recommended him!

It sounds to me that the previous two reviews were written by people who were on the opposite side of "Mr. Z" as I like to call him. I'm grateful everyday that he was my lawyer. He's definately a fighter and can't be intimidated by the lawyers on the other side. He's not scared to stand up to judges either, when he has to. Another important thing is that he's not scared to go to trial. Most lawyers will bleed you dry and when you have no more money, they sell you down the river. Not Sam. With him you're guaranteed to get your day in court. A friend I know just won her trial with Sam. If you feel you're not being heard, that the system is pushing you around and you're being lost in the shuffle, there is no better lawyer to turn to then Sam. I'm grateful. Because of him, I got my children back.

Sam is a first class bully and not in a good way. Judges have openly stated he is to be quiet, stop interrupting or to sit down in court. Sam also makes up his own rules and interprets judges statements to his own meanings. Any lawyer that faces him must be aware of his antics in the court room. Contrary to the previous comment in his reviews, Sam does drag court cases out to the utmost extent and uses delay tactics to pad his bill. The majority of judges have denied his claims for additional funds. The worst part is that Sam is a Legal aid lawyer who bills above his government coverage. He is highly likely to misrepresent any client. Be aware before you hire him or face him in court. He is the worst lawyer available for defence or plaintiff, many lawyers have agreed on this in private.

Sam is a young lawyer, but what he may lack in experience he more than makes up for in knowledge and ability. He actually cares about his client and does not drag out the case in order to pad his bill. He does not take any crap from opposing counsel. I found him to be very good in court. And he is willing to work with the client. I have found that a great many lawyers have an arrogant god complex usually associated with doctors. I highly recommend him.
