I was bullied by my lawyer, as I was in need of professional help from my abusive ex husband, whomever I was trying to divorce at the time. She would attack me if I disagreed with anything she did or had an opinion by saying "I could start all over again with another lawyer if I kept being 'difficult '". I was not difficult, I was just trying to understand and not have her pillage money from me, like she was. She lacks empathy and grace. I was trying to battle and leave a narcissist, just to be entangled with another one.. do not recommend this law office. The minions are like their owner. They are all allowed to be rude, because she is. Bad experience all around.

MFC cares about whittling away your retainer and not actually getting anything done. The most correspondence you will receieve is about your account - not your case. Stear clear of these guys.

This lawyer is god awful You will not get any results from her. She will keep dragging out your case and not make any progress. She just keeps taking your money. She's also verbally abusive to her clients.

From my experience, every negative thing said about her in all the reviews are 100% true. She is verbally abusive to her clients, completely misses details, drags out cases and milks every last dollar out of her clients. She lacks knowledge in large areas and sells her abilities as being well above what they actually are.

Erika McLeod charged me $200 fee for a phone consult due to pandemic. Im a PERSON OF DISABILITY with little money. She was shockingly rude, bulldozed the entire consult, yelled over me anytime I tried to ask a question, as though she were drowning out her competition in a court dispute. Before agreeing to the high cost of consult the receptionist said the 200 was for Erika's "time." What about the client's time/money thats paid to have imp questions answered? I filled out the required 3pg form which she DIDN'T READ. She said I had no case because I have no assets, not even owed alimony. I said thats not true my ex & I had 60,000 in stocks to divide. She paused, flipped thru the forms & said "oh. yeah I guess you have a right to that." She bulldozed the entire convo like a well oiled routine forcing a $200 consult to finish in under 10mins. I paid for a service she didn't provide. Her aim was for quick $ during a pandemic when ppl are vulnerable. Its disgusting. I want my $200 refunded.

Very knowledgeable lawyer. I found her to make every effort to keep my costs down and she gave me options and explained the cost involved in each option. She listened to me but also was very up front with me if she thought that I was acting stupid - which I appreciated. She insisted that I make every effort to keep the drama out of my separation which I believe saved me a lot of time and money and was the reason that me and my ex eventually settled. She made every effort to limit my contact with her office to save me money. I didn't appreciated this at first but now I am so glad that she did. I would highly recommend this lawyer. She didn't back down, but at the same time she didn't fuel the fight between me and my ex which is what happened with some of my friends. She was great.

Saw her in action personally. She tends to play the victim card heavily for her side when her side is the reason nothing is moving forward. Loves meeting after meeting as each one makes money for her. Sadly, she is the one of the reasons the system is backed up with cases that can be solved easily without court, yet that wouldn t make her any money helping solve issues.

Terrible overall experience. In 6 months, all I got was financial disclosure. This was a simple separation agreement!! No communication at all, I had to follow up on everything myself and when I did speak with her she knew nothing about my case and was harsh and abrasive. Extremely unprofessional. Steer clear. 2500 retainer got me no results at all. Steer clear.

My last lawyer screwed up my case. Erica Mcleod fixed it at the next court appearance I was shocked. She has good prices to. She isn't just trying to take your money.

Spent money and got nowhere. It seemed like my case wasn't a priority compared to her other clients. I ended up getting a different lawyer after a few months of no progress. Bad experience.
