(1) Three months after I paid the retainer and asked her to draft a separation proposal, I found (to my surprise) that she did not yet consider herself to be representing me (and she had not started on that draft). (2) In later discussions about what to propose, she seemed to be advocating for the other side. Some of her arguments against my suggestions were bogus, and at least one was self-contradictory. (3) I had a question about the implementation of a hypothetical agreement. I had to prod her several times to get any answer. Her eventual answer did nothing to clear up the ambiguity. My mild expression of frustration was enough for her to claim a "complete breakdown in our client/solicitor relationship" and she dropped me on that flimsy pretext. But this turns out to have been a blessing in disguise. Proceedings have been delayed by a year, because of her, but at least now I've found a decent lawyer as a replacement.

She badmouthed 4 different lawyers during the short time I met with her today. Basically told me that I wasn't telling the truth, when I was explaining to her what the facts were. Has very strong views on certain judges and has emotional reactions if what you are staying conflicts with her opinions. Asks questions, and cuts you off before hearing the answer. She gaslights and puts forward a fraudulent narrative when there is no narrative that she's aware of in any event. This woman does not listen, does not care, and she is ****.

My high conflict divorce was made worse by having her represent me. I don't doubt her knowledge and experience, but she is LAZY. She does not care about doing her job properly. She's made her money and wants to focus on property. I learned more from the free legal line than her after months of working together! If you can't get legal aid like me, hire a divorce coach with high conflict experience and represent yourself. Trust your gut the first time she tries to gaslight you for no reason. I wanted my divorce to be over so I stuck with her. Now I'm representing myself and I'm 100% happier without her. Even her assistant is lazy with her thousands of spelling mistakes. High conflict divorces require special skills and a high level of efficiency. She spoke to me like a child, didn't inform me properly, talked circles around me, and didn't put in the effort to focus on my highest concerns. She failed me as a lawyer.

This lawyer is a very transparent liar and judges know her reputation for lying for her clients. She gives bad advise that only benefits herself in dragging out the divorce, constant emails & phone calls, many court appearances. My divorce dragged on many painful years & cost my life savings. This well fed lawyer was my worst nightmare.

Cheryl should be embarrassed at the clients she chooses to represent- abusive , manipulative individuals. she couldn't write an articulate summary if her life dependent on it. would not recommend depending on this women to represent you. awful though and through.

She told a court lies that her client knew were not true, refused to negotiate and threatened me with serious actions based on nothing and with multiple actions on numerous occasions during supposed negotiations. She apparently has a reputation for finding solutions pre-court. If that were true that's long in the past along with her integrity if it existed to begin with.
