Larry came to me highly recommended and I am forever grateful . He has years of experience which was evident and unmatched by the opposing side . Larry is responsive and thorough , honest and transparent. He worked to resolve issues and was fair with all related costs . We were able to settle without going to court . If we did end up in court it was Larry I would want representing me .

Tenacious, experienced and knowledgeable. Larry was devoted and went the extra mile , He was fair , transparent and responsive . He made every effort to ensure I didn’t spend money unnecessarily and fought for costs when the opposing side extended and extended unnecessarily. I was recommended to retain Larry by someone who was on the other side. Larry demonstrated passion, determination and fairness like no other. He is professional, fair and knowledgeable. He works for the best interest of his client with passion, devotion and their best interest. He is detailed, approachable and fair .he is in demand and difficult to retain but if he takes in your case, you will get the knowledge, passion and devotion you need. highly recommend Larry .

If you want things settled properly and efficiently do not hire Larry Segal. He will make sure that he has exacted every dollar from you before leaving you near broke with a poor and incomplete settlement. He will tell you constantly the system is bias and unfair. This is an observation I think most would agree is absolutely true however Larry like most “team members” in the family law system from the government agencies, judiciary and lawyers play right along collect fees and salaries while creating controversy and adding to the systems brokenness rather than provide sound guidance to a fair and timely resolution. During the entire process his opposing council seemed to dance him around, at times I wondered if they were working together on escalating each other’s fees. Sadly when the money started to come to an end my settlement was quick to appear and left me hanging as clauses and contingencies were left out in a haste that should have been negotiated and included to protect me

I had an excellent experience with Larry. We ran up against a very unprofessional experience with a local mediator/arbitrator and Larry handled it very professionally. He understands, through years of experience, that the system is slow and biased and that the Canadian family legal system is terribly broken.He is fair and measured and aggressive when appropriate.He guided me through a very unfortunate experience.I would recommend him to anyone that wants a lawyer that always looks out for their best interests.

SUPER aggressive...exactly what everyone imagines as their worst nightmare. Mediation is not in his bones; but, court is inevitable. Don't hire him thinking your stbx will be devastated by his tactics- this will backfire because you will also be crushed. Quite skilled at creating chaos and unnecessary trouble and both you and your stbx will be bankrupt. No one wins.
