We totally lost trust in this lawyer. He did not submit a response in the time limit required so any work he supposedly did for the last summary trial the judge would not hear since the other party claimed he did not have time to prepare, yet he billed more than double what he said it should cost. You need to have anything he tell you in regards to cost in writing or you will find that what he quotes you as to what he thinks it will cost will not even be close. Although he stated after arguing about his previous bill that he would advise ahead of time if the cost was going to be higher, he did not so once again we got a shock when he billed for more than double what he said it should cost. Get everything he tells you in writing. He is extremely hard to get hold of and terrible at returning calls. He actually hung up on me when discussing his billing. I would strongly recommend that you pay a little more for a lawyer that can meet deadlines.
