Was left high and dry with Lesley representing me, most dishonest and unscrupulous advocate in the city. Please look elsewhere, she is terrible.

Over 20,000 on a separation agreement & resolving this matter in court. Final day in court everything was initialed & signed off before the Judge. I was lead to believe this was going to be it! While Ms. Taafe was still in the court room & myself still sitting in a small room outside the court room, I used the facilities. When I returned Ms. Taffe was gone from the court house! I called the office only to find from the secretary Ms. Taafe was in office. I was advised the sep agreement was signed & no longer required her. Opposing counsel numerous of times since has asked for the sep agreement? I called Ms. Taafe (was never allowed to talk to her) but the secretary ensured it was the agreement & all was done. I had to contact FRO as my ex-husband decided not to pay anymore & was told this sep agreement was not enforceable as it was not filed before court? SO I have an agreement that is not worth the paper it was written on, over $20,000 later.

The most arrogant, dishonest, and hostile lawyer you can find. She is inexperienced and not knowledgeable at all. Very condescending and at the end of the day very money hungry. She will also double bill you. Terrible experience with her. Absolutely disgusting human being.

I had Leslie taffe represent me. She told me that I need an emergency motion and it would cost me five thousand dollars. I payed the fee she requested and we got our court date. Leslie showed up two hours late and stunk of alcohol. In the court room the judge told miss taffe that she should know better than to come to an emergency motion before case conference. The judge informed me to have my money returned and that I was miss lead bye my council. I fired miss taffe on the spot. She then tacked on an additional 7000 dollars in legal fees and refused to give me anything about my file she had until I paid her the 7000 dollars. Miss taffe cares about her money more than her clients biggest mistake obtaining miss taffe as my lawyer.

I had this lawyer represent me as my original one left the firm I decided to keep my matters at the same firm and go with her. She freaked out on me after my family court and told me to find another lawyer as she doesn't want her reputation ruined because the other lawyer was trying to find stuff to fight against her with. It was very inappropriate behaviour when talking to a client. She said tris infront of my family and then stormed out of the the room. I wa so embarrassed. Very inappropriate. Cares more about her reputation then she doesn't her clients needs. I do not recommend. Also very condescending.
