Ms Lafuente did not represent me fairly, or ethiclally. I have been waiting Since MAY (it is now almost Sept) for her to respond to direct questions, voice mails and emails. She certainly manages to contact me when she wants to be paid!! I am disgusted with her ethics and am having my file reviewed by the Law Society.

Ms. Lafuente seems quite knowledgeable, but she is not ethical at all. She will take a fight forward, for what, in my opinion is just for the billable hours, even though the likelihood of "winning" a case is very slim. She preys on emotions and creates drama rather than providing truly objective representation.

I can't comment much on her legal competence, but based on my experience I was disappointed with the way she practices. In my view, her actions didn't always seem ethical. This may sound extreme, but I couldn't help but feel like a "bad guy" (perhaps even "dirty") being associated with her. The experience with her reinforced the negative stereotype commonly held about lawyers. Some people may not mind hiring a lawyer like this, but she is not someone I would ever consider hiring in the future.
