I had came to Martin Kaup through a referral to take on a MVA lawsuit. I was a passenger in a car accident and needed surgery, but the doctor wanted the lawsuit to be over before doing surgery. I was a young girl and he took complete advantage of that. With Martin knowing the doctors wouldn't fix my back until the lawsuit was over. You think he would have pushed the lawsuit forward...He sat on my file for almost 10 years. To only pay him $6,000 for disbursements, shows he did nothing!!!To find out he does NOT specialize in MVA, my first thought was why did he take my file on? After firing him and hiring a competent lawyer(1.5 years later my case was complete) he then had his hand out looking for money cause he sat on my file longer...completely sickens me. My advice is go with a lawyer that specializes in what you need and would get the job done. Not someone who will expect the client do all the work and talks a good game!
