K. Barton was the worst decision I made during my divorce. Not only is she ineffective counsel, she is incompetent. She created a procedural nightmare. She waived my rights to alimony, child support, temporary orders. Now I am paying back child support to a deadbeat dad, and my children were living with me! I cannot undo what she has done. She should be disbarred. Unprofessional and nonresponsive, and charges $300 an hour.

Poor communication. Poor planning. Refused to have a preparation meeting ever never before mediation from the client. Never update what been going on. Parent and child relationship. No intention to take care of the details and the all over need of the clients. No just wasted tons of money, but wasted time, and lost opportunity to get fair result when there were so were many details and good cards in her hands but she lost and didn't do her homework. Never discussed what clients goals or concerns before the mediation or during the retained period. Bad experience with this lawyer.
