On Feb 3/21, the court sentenced Stuart Murray for one count of fraud over $5000. In addition his licence to practice law has been permanently revoked by the Law Society.
He received an 18 month conditional sentence of imprisonment. He will not face imprisonment as long as he complies with a multitude of conditions. If he fails to comply, he is subject to imprisonment for whatever time remains under the Order. The most relevant conditions include:
-Abstain from communicating with Mullun Law’s former clients and employees.
-For the first 10 months, remain in his residence.
-For the subsequent 8 months, comply with curfew conditions.
-Complete 75 hours of community service within 15 months.
- 4 years probation. He cannot hold any property in trust.

We've just been informed that he has been suspended, for suspected fraud, and owes my sister $30,000 from a house sale she left with him in Trust. Now we are being asked to file a complaint with Upper Canada Law Society, that we may never see our money.
