Hire Jake van Allen. He is brilliant, out performs everyone in court and does it all with a smile on his face. He is pragmatic and focuses on what needs to be done for your best interest. He is always honest, available and kind. Jake is works diligently, with skilled knowledge and case study, notices every detai and picks up on last minute opportunities. I have witnessed him call out a less than honest or ignorant person and stop them in their tracks. You would be lucky to have him on your side.

Jake is an amazing lawyer and truly shines with regards to his professionalism with his clients and in front of a judge. Jake always approaches all issues with both a calm and determined attitude. As noted above, Jake is always professional, organized, available and in essence a super star especially (in my experience) during Court Hearings and Family Case Conferences. In summary, Jake is the primary reason that I survived mentally, emotionally and legally over the last year of family court proceedings. I will be forever grateful to him for getting me to the other side of this year and also for recommending and aiding in the securing of a PC moving forwards regarding dealing with future medium to smaller issues with my ex (which has been going really well thus far). Thank you so much Jake for all you have done and do.

Jake is amazing. He is calm and patient and walks me through each step in a calm logical manner. In a case that has been drug out for years, he is expeditious and knowledgeable. His skill is superb and he has a big heart. I highly recommend him. He has his client's best interest at heart.

Jake was able to give me options of what course of action could be taken. He understood the emotional side of the frustration involved in my situation due to the cause of the delay in action and was able to make me feel at ease. I appreciated all his insights and knowledge of the laws regarding Common law relationships. I will be very comfortable referring his professional services to friends or family. After consulting with 3 previous lawyers he was more than willing to look into my Commom law separation situation and was able to get closure for me. Thank you, thank you for helping to correct the situation and receive my fair share of the monies from the sale of the Common Law property. I am now able to look forward to the future with hope.
