Marlene is hands down the person to hire as a family lawyer in Niagara. She is the new generation of the known high profile lawyers (Lucas, Workman etc). She is dedicated and hardworking. She will not take advantage of your dollar, will communicate effectively with you and strategize and be available to you more than any lawyer I’ve encountered. It is not uncommon to receive emails at late hours as she works on her caseload. I especially recommend Marlene in high conflict cases. Marlene is exceptional, especially in her professionalism and rapport with fellow counsel and Judges. She is in the top 5, watching her in front of a judge only solidifies my opinion on her talent and skilled delivery of oral arguments and her capabilities both inside and outside the courtroom. I have referred countless people to her before switching myself, solely based on seeing her in action. I transferred my ongoing file from another high profile counsel in the area and won’t look back.

I was referred to Ms.VanderSpek and I couldn't be happier with my decision. She is extremely knowledgable and tenacious. She keeps you completely informed about the entire process and does not sugar coat anything. I would not be where I am without her. I highly recommend this lawyer.
