Trash lawyer. Expensive as hell and nothing accomplished or to show for it. Waste of money, time, and energy. Get someone more senior with some experience under their belt.

I started my separation process with Sarah Miller Nov 2019 after a friend had recommended her to me. My ex spouse had a lawyer that was very uneducated and caused more issues with our separation than needed. Sarah was very professional, understanding and knowledgeable about the law. She always made deadlines when asked. Her communication was excellent, always giving me notification of correspondence and ensuring I was involved prior to sending out our correspondence. She was an excellent mentor of the separation process and was very level headed when dealing with difficult situations that would arise frequently by my ex's lawyer. This was the most difficult time of my life and Sarah was exactly what I needed to have the best representation for myself and what was best for the children I have with my spouse. I valued everything Sarah put into my case and she is worth it. She went above and beyond for me when I needed her to. I will always recommend Sarah as a lawyer.

My divorce from a disillusioned wife started off with verbal agreement between us. My wife quickly abandoned that stand at the recommendation of her counsel and then the dance began. Ms. Miller bent to the task and engaged with my wife’s counsel and patiently dealt with numerous delays, reluctance to engage and provide documents requested. After intolerable delays Ms. Miller arranged two JCC’s. My wife’s counsel would respond just in time to annul the first JCC then the delays would begin again and another JCC was scheduled. Then the Master settled things immediately to our satisfaction. During the JCC I could sense Ms. Miller’s stress which subsided as the Master made rulings in our favour. The success of the outcome of the JCC was entirely due to Ms. Miller’s through and professional preparation and I have great respect and gratitude for her services. I’ve recommended her legal support to friends in marital distress.

I hired Sarah for a simple divorce where the separation between my partner and myself was mutual. I was told it would be an easy 'desk order divorce'. Not only did it take an unnecessary amount of time for my divorce to finally go through (after being rejected by the courts numerous times) but I was over-billed for absolutely everything, and even moved through law firms with her during the process. Sarah turned out to be a complete disappointment and in my opinion a rather incompetent lawyer. I would not recommend using her services unless you have a considerable amount of time and money to waste.

I was dealing with a very stressful breakup with my common-law hubbie and I was referred to Sarah because of a friends experience. I will say Sarah is very knowledgeable and thorough but she missed all of her deadlines she had set and ended up costing me twice what she estimated. I would have been okay with that but she never communicated to me along the way what she thought the final bill was going to be until after it was done. I am not rolling in money so this almost put me over the edge. I understand that is what she is owed but at some point I expect anyone to warn someone of they are going to go double their estimate without a great explanation. I also expect them to talk to me once I ask them about their bill. She is a great lawyer if you need help but open your pocket books up if you hire her.
