PLEASE STAY AWAY’!!! A very large portion of our estate assets and investments have disappeared and STILL, after 5 years, are currently unaccounted for. He has never ONCE provided the beneficiaries a single proper accounting. He is currently being investigated for criminal charges.

Peter was the worst lawyer I have ever hired. He asked for a $10K retainer on the basis that that is what will be needed to complete my case. He then did minimal work, was unreachable for the entire summer (when I needed legal assistance the most) then later sent me a bill for $20K for things like reasing emails and answering texts (while he was away and unabke to represent me). He then took this bill to a small claims court knowing I could barely pay the retainer to begin with. He is the epitome of crooked and slimy and I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

Peter had worked on a real estate issue of a complex nature and a very slippery and dishonest lease holder. The case eventually went to appeals court in Toronto where he was matched one of the best of the Bay Street boys and was successful. He is very relentless when on your team. Hate to be on the other side against him in a court of law. Little pricey but better than the alternative.

Stay away from Peter Callahan....he lies and charges way more fees then what he says....I know others who have had difficulties with him..He charges fees without the person knowing he's doing that...I asked several times what the fees would be and he always said he had to check. Gave an estimate and then charged over double what he said. His fee was just removed when I received my cheque. No discussion about it. Do not use this lawyer....

Peter Callahan is an outstanding lawyer. After hiring some of the biggest names in the business we retained Mr. Callahan to take on a complex family law and corporate matter. Peter handled our case with skill, professionalism, tenacity, and aplomb. He is a seasoned veteran; he got the job done with fantastic results in record time and more cost effectively where no one else could. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Callahan to any and all - he could make the difference between winning and losing your case and you definitely want him on your team.

I had a terrible experience with Mr. Callahan. it started with great promises at first meeting and then after paying him a big retainer, we started the process and things started to seem different to what he told me. he kept lying and changing his position to avoid taking responsibility. Wasted my time and my money. Not honest. I don't recommend.
