Everything this guy said before me is 100% bang on!!! Complete waste of time and money to intentionally force the file to drag on for longer and become WAY more complex than it is. Makes it complex on purpose so the costs go up on both sides for the lawyers. 100% felt like my own counsel was working against me and had to argue several times to get the information across about MY own children that I am paying him to defend with MY own money against an opposing lawyer who was called to the bar 2 years ago. He should be sued for malpractice by someone. Maybe that would wipe the smirk off his face when he tells you that he honestly could care less about anything except getting paid...after he has driven your file into the ground and watched you lose your children's education fund.

Beyond useless! Useless would be an improvement. Talks a big game, couldn’t deliver on anything. Wasn’t able to hold a position on anything. Shmuel’s top skills -> 1.) eager mail-boy for opposing counsel; 2.) broken calculator….just cares about filling out your NFP in excruciating detail while the other-side provided a post-it worth of info; 3.) thinks no-end of himself, missed the most glaring legal advice despite the issue being raised multiple times. And he was up against a junior Associate lawyer!!! Switched to a sole-practitioner small-town lawyer, who did more in a month than what Bay Street Law Firm Partner Shmuel could in a year. Not that Mr. Bay Street accomplished anything other than make matters worse. Felt like my own lawyer was working against me. Avoid. And if you’re a present client - get out before Mr. NFP screws you over. If I’d known the glaring things he didn’t advise or just plain ignored, that I now do - I’d have sued him for malpractice.

Shmuel is personable, knowledgeable and cared about getting me through my situation with a good result while maintaining respect and integrity - I would highly recommend him.

Found him to be a liar, he was dishonest. He was very tenacious about getting his was.
