The only reason she got 1`s across the board was that 0 was not an option. She took on my custody case after my daughter had basically been kidnapped by her mother and taken over 3000kms away from me. I talked to her once on the phone, after that, I could not get through to her or anyone at the office. I tried changing council though legal-aid and was denied after she had told them I never tried to contact the office. So I tried again. She had then passed it on to her assistant who I had talked to once on the phone but that was it. After that, there was no communication other than an email stating they had been trying several times to contact me. No emails, no voicemails, my number never changed, so where was the contact? I later received a bill from legal aid for services rendered by Mrs Nwankwo, which I`m still baffled over because it never saw a day in court nor was any of the matters resolved. I suppose since I`m doing this on the phone from NB, it`s out of sight out of mind.

Ms. Vivian Nwankwo and her team have done an outstanding job with my Parenting/Divorce case. Communication was not always instant, but Excel Legal seems to be a very busy litigation firm. I've seen Vivian and members of her team handle multiple matters at the same time in Court. At first I was concerned that my case would not get the attention it needed, but Vivian did an amazing job presenting each of our matters with vigor and attention to detail. I would highly recommend her to any of my friends or family in need of a family litigator.

Vivian has been reported to the Alberta law society for unethical conduct. She quickly aligns herself with one parent and acts in their interests rather than that of the child. Underhanded tricks like changing appointment times to exclude one party and attempting to convince a child that his feelings are incorrect.

I got Vivian via Legal Aid for a Supervision order. I called her over 30 times and left over 20 messages so I could speak with her regarding my case. She never showed up to my court date and sent a student which the student passed herself off as Vivian Nwankwo. I ended up getting screwed because I didnt have proper representation. I only found out the person repping me wasnt Vivian because I saw her at the courthouse and told her I needed to speak with her and she handed me a card with the name Fadekemi Oyawale. To this day I havent spoken to an actual lawyer regarding my issues.

Very poor communication dealt with her through legal aid sent a huge bill to legal aid and and has never spoken with me about or regarding my file stepped in court for like two minutes did absolutely nothing and built legal aid over $1000

Vivian got more restrictions put on me with my son's, stating I have to work with cfs. She didn't file any of my documents on time and at my last court appearance, I asked her if she was going to say anything in my defense. She said no. Even though my ex didn't have representation, he walked all over me. I have done everything asked of me and she didn't say anything. I would never use hear again. I brought her so much evidence and she ignored everything.
